As a bounced I would look out on the changeable flatness of the water – always with a little fear of the unknowable depths. Once I could, I would drive to the cliffs when an electrical storm manifested – watching the lightning flash and the wind push the clouds across the sky. As I made these tracks, pushing and pulling sounds through synthesisers, I was reminded of those times looking out on the ocean storms…”
