This is a series of recordings made during a quarantine period (and a few weeks after) when nationals were first allowed to visit australia again as the pandemic began to settle. I hadn’t been back to adelaide (where i was born) for 7 years – it was a very strange brain time.
Coming back and just listening to the place for the first time in 7 years while feeling the heat of an australian summer, the caress of a dying relative, old friends and family, breaths into these recordings.
These recordings were made on a row of eurorack, a 1010 music bluebox and a couple of home made instruments along with a few other synths and bits back in the studio.
There is no physical release for this record at this stage, but there may be something coming in future.
