TREM19 – BOD LIQBT – EAT DIRDT – Cassette and Digital Release

‘Eat Dirdt’ is a new EP of 4 (with bonus tracks for the tape release) sci-fi wave / post rock songs on coca-brown cassette with an 0-card cover – it’s the 2nd release from the London duo and sees them further exploring a soundscape of cinematic, epic yet dirty songs that poke around the edges of several genres, including ambient, rock, synth wave, sci-fi wave and spoken word. 

Recorded across a two year period, Eat Dirdt mixes field recordings, synthesised soundscapes, drum loops and guitar. The lyrics were developed from a collaborative process, asking artists and writers to respond to the concept of ‘microbial writing’. The resulting words were edited across the EP with a range of processes: spoken, sung, processed by synthesisers and submitted to random and chance-based processing.
