Well well, here we are, a cheeky cassingle – well, when we say cheeky, what we means is, a little contemplative, a little pop, a little melody, a little Lofi, a little dirty, a little sad, a little mind sorting , a little working life out…
…. …. … this is our new mate Mark Tremolo – well, not so new, a rebranding (gross), and he’s here, working out his feelings in a way we can all enjoy. I think we’re being flippant cos what else can you do when an artist submits a release that’s about their estranged dad dying.
Did he ever care? He wasn’t there. These two tracks started from the same raw, tear streaked demo. The first (spinning on one foot) was polished up into a dizzy full band pop tune between the news of the death and the funeral. The second, a year later, takes the demo and stays a little closer to it’s blue print, but finds a dizzy swirling at the ivory’s.
